Capsule Shaped

Road Sack is shaped like a capsule so it's

• Aerodynamic.
• Provides a maximum visible surface—more people can see you.
• Self collapsing—backpack thickness is minimised to keep your centre of gravity low.

Fabric Materials

Road Sack is made with a variety of fabrics.

• Highly visible, fluorescent yellow waterproof panels.
• Reflective centre panel for reflectivity.
• High contrast colour combination—eye-catching day and night.

Main Compartment

Featuring a padded pocket large enough for a 15 inch laptop, space for a book or two, pockets for smaller items and a wallet holder.

The 15 litre (3.4 gallons US, dry) internal capacity is not too large to carry while riding and not too small so that you have to carry another bag. A diagonally running, size 10 heavy-duty zipper makes accessing the inside easy with your gloves on.

Front Carry Compartment

The front compartment is designed to carry things that you need easy or quick access to, such as a small water bottle, keys, map, mobile phone and wallet. Keeping the loose—and often hard—items away from your back.

An elastic, self-closing lip holds loose items and a velcro secured cover to protect it from the elements.

Waterproofing

The Road Sack is designed to be used in all weather conditions. Lightweight nylon lining for all outside facing panels that prevents water soaking through. Main compartment opening also has a sleeve that prevents water from soaking through the zipper.

The eyelet-free design means there's not a single hole on the backpack! And dirt is no problem; the 100% polymer material is hand washable

Sternum and Waist Straps

A set of fully adjustable straps secure the Road Sack to your back regardless of your riding position. Buckling up and tightening straps reduce the amount of swaying and momentum-driven backpack movement, giving you a more comfortable, enjoyable ride.

Durability

High strength thread is used to stitch all the panels together providing the best durability. The colour-matched threads offer maximum visibility and colour consistency.

Independent Shoulder Straps (ISS)

ISS prevents 'strap splitting' which often occurs when putting on a backpack with traditionally sewn straps over a thick motorcycle jacket.

Height Adjustable Shoulder Straps

Control where the weight of the backpack is placed on your shoulder and back. The straps allow you to keep your centre of gravity close to your body.

We recommend setting it:

• Up high (short) for sports bike and road bicycle riders;
• Down low (long) for naked, cruiser motorcycle and mountain bike riders.

Ergonomics

The ergonomic design is comfortable with all riding styles and positions.

• Curved, padded shoulder straps.
• Web mesh with sponge padding construction on body-contact zone panels allows airflow and keeps you dry.
• Flexible back insert—fits your spine and distributes weight along your back muscles, as opposed to just your shoulders and collarbone.
• The High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) back insert also provides substantially more protection than the more commonly used cardboard insert by preventing sharp objects penetrating the fabric.

Handle

The heavy-duty handle gives you a better grip on the backpack. It’s double stitched to carry as much weight as possible.
